yes unlike the United States and the people that hate the United States Thailand is allowed and liked and loved because it has border laws and proper immigration laws. So what you're going to be looking for is going to be more of a work visa. But if you think they will sit there and take the same shit Americans do by all means. Try....😇🙏😁

yep and if they can't extort money from you and you're Having to leave the country early due to immigration or Other reasons Especially in the wake of recent events. - they know this- they can run your credit up if you have to leave the country and are unable to pay your rent. People need to be careful credit fraud is rampant there. But Chiang Mai was the best place I ever lived in my God damn life! I would go through that shit a million times over. For me going into Thailand and taking that 20 hour sit-down train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai was like going to heaven but ascending slowly and then when you get there everyday being nice slow tranquil peaceful it was the best time of my life! Especially when they had that particular plant the criminalized and the funny thing is their species of it is just so beautiful to look at. Even times when I would not partake of such festivities it was a wonderful place to have worn my flat feet to the Bone walking

Be careful and don't let anyone regardless if it is here or on the streets scam you a lot of your stuff might have to be taken care of in your country of origin. Because if you get your money taken and you come here and complain about it everyone's just going to call you stupid and then talk about responsibility when they don't know a single thing about it since most of them were most likely born with a silver spoon in their mouth also there's a lot of carpet bagging going on in Thailand right now if you're a US citizen you're not going to have a lot of luck. Make sure you have your stuff situated before you go there nothing makes them angrier if they can't get anything on you. Other than that Thailand is probably the cleaner Southeastern Asian countries and probably the more advanced one enjoy your time there. I've had more help out of Thai people there than other foreigners other foreigners tend to just look at you and then complain when you have something to say about anything. People that are coming here for marriage are getting screwed over because the country wants you to have thousands of dollars to be put into a bank account in Thailand that they can lock down and take your money at any time like they have done with it then recent months when they change their visa laws FYI laws in this country change about every week or every 3 days as of recently I am just very sorry that you didn't come sooner and get to enjoy it at least long enough to have avoided all of the cold weather everywhere else unless you live somewhere that's just cold constantly.

I was there one week before the Cambodian border conflict and let me tell you everywhere else in Cambodia should be fine but don't mess around too long at the border it's scary scary

Being in love loving someone and marrying someone shouldn't require an absurd amount of money in an account in either country. This is another reason why not to go to Thailand now. Besides with all of the deadly parasites and things that can bite you for just simply wearing sandals causing organ failure it's really just not worth staying here the government can't figure out what it wants to do because of a military coup. Sadly marrying in Thailand and trying to stay there is completely impossible it's almost like the country pimps out its own women using its immigration policy. Unfortunately this is why I think it's best that we start going elsewhere in Southeast Asia until Thailand can get it stuff together

yeah I know that but you'll be surprised right now I think they're about to change another law it just seems like it's going to be better to come back later for someone in my position I have a family friend who I have came here to see she and her husband have been living here since the 1960s and she has brain cancer her husband's basically been dead for a while but they keep him hooked up he stiff as a bored. I'm guessing they're waiting for her to pass away so they could probably stay together in that regard but it's just too much right now probably will come back later maybe who the work visa or something that way I ain't got to worry as much as I am now kind of came here to try to experiment a little too just to see what it would be like even got to go on a few dates which was great

yes but what rules are you talking about the ones that change today and the ones that changed last week are the ones that changed yesterday it's hard to follow rules that continuously change every few days. Right now Thai authorities don't know what they're doing and don't know what to do. For a while I was starting to see more police presence but now it's gone back down and businesses are shutting down left or back down and businesses are shutting down left and right but that could also be because of the rainy season but I've noticed stuff starting to shut down more and more before the rainy season arrived

You can pull every trick in the book be as smooth and slick as you can you're never most the time if you find a good woman going to get her to sleep with you in the first night because they actually think about stuff rather than just hop in the bed and have fun like most other cultures I love Thailand and I'll never forget Thai women
