I know there are some dumb questions and anonymous posts (I am still waiting for my approval after 3 weeks in Sydney) but can we try and be a bit nicer? It seems to be getting really snarky here.

Heads up to those who are with Bangkok Bank. Starting today they require you to block 400k/800k (depending on your visa type) 4 months prior to renewal even if immigration is asking 3 months. If not they will disclose documents for visa renewal only by making you sign a paper where you pledge to keep the amount for 4 more months.

Attached the announcement

Somebody tells me the process of DTV cancellation..

- is that possible to cancel in Chaing Mai Immigration? If not, we have to go to Bangkok Immigration..

- What documents is most necessarily? Eg- all the documents what we had applied for the DTV before..

- How long it took time in waiting to complete the cancellation process?

Thanks each of you who has attention on my questions.. 🙏

Do you normally get email updates regarding your application? I submitted yesterday and haven't gotten any confirmation email about the application or payment. Worried I'll miss a request for interview or something 🫣

I currently working for a company which allows remote work up to 60 days in a year if you have the right permissions to work in the host country (either citizenship, permanent resident, or valid work visa), so the position is not completely remote. Is it sufficient if I submit a screenshot of the company's remote work policy with my visa application? Anyone face any similar situation?

Hi everyone, I’m planning to apply for the DTV visa through an agent, and I’ve heard very different things about the 500,000 THB bank requirement.

Some agents told me the money doesn’t need to stay in my account for 3 months, even just 1 or 2 days is enough. Others said it has to be there for 3 months or even longer.

I’m really confused and want to do this the right way.

I plan to apply in Hanoi, so if anyone has experience applying there, I’d love to hear your insights.

– How long did your money stay in your account before applying?

– Was your application approved smoothly?

Also, if you know any trustworthy agent who has helped you or your friends get the DTV visa successfully, I’d really appreciate a recommendation!

Thanks so much 🙏

I just want to make sure I’m following a safe and proper process.

Hello everyone! 🙏 Thank you for everyones help. The group was very helpful to me! I want to share my experience so that I can also help others.

My visa was approved on June 16th.

🌞I'll share the details of my experience.

I am Mongolian passport and I applied in Hanoi. I made a deposit for one month of training at Tiger Eye Muay Thai and MMA.

I had over 1 million baht balance in my account.

I applied on June 10th and I was asked for additional documents on June 11th. Tiger Eye provided me with a packet of documents, but I didn't upload all of them. The email requested specific documents, such as the business registration, which I have uploaded on the 13th.

On the 16th I received my visa!

Yesterday was my first day of Muay Thai. I did my second training session today. I had a lot of fun! And the facility and schedule is nice. Gain more friends and they help, training so helpful. And now I'm thinking about afternoon Muay Thai class. I'm really excited about it 😁

If you need to contact the Gym:

Tiger Eye Martial Arts

I love 'Tiger Eye Muay Thai and MMA' gym.

Thank you for your time and enjoy your lovely day 👊

It’s been 20 days since I applied in Phnom Penh (Soft Power), and I still haven’t received any response or feedback. I’m starting to lose patience, and I’d like to know: should we follow up by email, or just keep waiting until we hear back?
