Hi everyone🌼, just an update – I’m resubmitting my Thai Non-O visa application. I reached again the part with the ‘Middle Name’. Applicant Information shows in red.
1. Is it normal that it shows in red?
2.I don’t have a middle name – what should I write?
This was the reason my last application was cancelled, and I don’t want to make the same mistake again.
Thanks a lot for your help! 🙏
I’m currently stay with DTV but now I need to change the Guardian visa (Non O). Can I change visa within Thailand? Some people say that it can make within thailand and don’t need to go outside of the country.
If anybody knows about it, please share for me.
Thank you.🙏🏻
Hey all
Couple of quick questions
1. I’m going to be applying for the workcation DTV, I have my own coaching company, so am I okay to show the 500k in my business bank account or does it have to be in my personal account?
2. Can I apply online and submit all documents whilst I’m in Thailand and then once it gets accepted fly to Hanoi to complete?
Thanks in advance
John
Hi everyone! I'm a DTV holder living near kukhot bts, in Pathumthani, a province right next to Bangkok. So I'm going to do my first 90 days report in person next month. Where should I go to do the report? Also regarding the TM30, how many days in advance before the 90 days report should the landlord do it for me? Thank you.
What options have people found for an affordable and comfortable way to leave and re-enter Thailand to activate a new 6 month stamp with a DTV. Starting in Bangkok. I know Cambodia is close but people say avoid poi pet so getting a bus to a different Cambodian border requires 2 bus’s I think. Long and uncomfortable. I have seen you can fly to Vietnam and back the same day. Less affordable but much more convenient.
Does any1 else have any better options? Trains? I’m 6f 5” also so lots of transport options become horrible if leg room isn’t sufficient.
With the banking issues experienced by DTV holders, how many of you guys (that are eligible) are considering/have jumped over to a retirement visa?
Quick question.. could I apply online if currently in Bali (not my home country) ? or would I have to go to Java ?
Also, how would I prove I am in Bali as Indonesia no longer physically stamps your passport.. ?
Thanks in Advance
Do I need the latest bank statements? Can I show 10 days old bank statement?
I know there's a lot of discussion surrounding bank accounts. My friend and I both got our DTVs at the same time but the difference is that I already had a BKK Bangkok so he decided to explore Tag Thai and the experience wasn't good.
I'll share what happened in case anybody else is thinking about trying TT.
Both landed at Swampy and straight to Kasikorn booth where you can see heavy advertising for TT. "No hab". After 2 more attempts found one land side but it seems the staff really have no interest in this card and each time try to put us off using it or seemed to be just tired of people asking about it.
The booth that did have it, the lady really did not want to have anything to do with it and pleaded with another colleague to set it for my friend. Overall I find this quite strange again giving the heavy promotion.
I was about to get one as a backup in case my bank acc got frozen and had my baht ready in hand but here's the major downfall of this card. You can only load it by converting foreign currency into Thai baht at a Kasikorn booth. You cannot load it directly with THB which is totally bizarre. So basically outside major cities without a Kasikorn exchange you're screwed.
He also had huge difficulty paying and scanning as well as the app constantly crashing. Finally he withdrew the baht and binned the card. Waste of time.
Can you same-day border run to Laos still, or do you HAVE to spend 1 night out in Laos?
