Greetings all. I am very grateful for this group and the kind help. I am about to apply for a DTV. Plan is to come to Thailand 15 January, stay for about 5 weeks. Then return home to US, organize for move, and return to Thailand in May. Does anyone see any issues with this plan? Thanks.

Are you receiving email notifications for updates on your DTC e-visa applications? I applied online with the London Embassy, and didn’t realise they had asked for additional documentation until I logged into the portal today to check the status. It says details in the email which I never received (not in spam either).

1. Do I need to show above 500k thb 3 months back? Or is ok if I have 350k, 280k 580k or something like that on that past months

2. When extending to another half year - do I need to show 500k again? Or anything else I need to proof? Or just pay another 10k and get 6 more months?

I'm on a Non O visa (Thai spouse). It expires mid January 2025 and I have to leave Thailand early February for about 6 weeks which is during the under consideration period of the visa renewal.

I'm sure I'm not the first in this predicament and a search has indicated that I just take my problem to the immigration dept when I apply for the renewal. Is this correct?

Can I apply early December and bring the whole process forward?

[New Passport] I’m about to send my passport off for renewal but before I do I want to know how do I transfer my visa from the old to the new one when it arrives?

- USA passport

- Non-Imm Visa for studying at university

- Currently live/study in Chiang Mai

- Renewed 90 day report on 11 November for current passport.
