I'm gonna do it in Vietnam - and I understand they are not super strict

About the extension - I can see the is a difference between doing an extension from inside Thailand - or just going out and coming back in and getting another months

I didn't know that was an option - if you can do extension by leaving the country and coming back - and no requirements - that would be great
