I had my DTV approved in Vietnam on the 29th of November, 2024. I've been living back in Bangkok since the 4th of December. I'm flying to Bali tomorrow.

1. Is there anything to prepare for the flights in and out or easy enough with multi-entry good to go?

2. I suppose no need for any 90 day report stuff as I won't be in Thailand for this length of time?

I intended to apply in Vietnam but heard Cambodia is easier.

Is there anyone applying DTV with Muay Thai class / cooking class in Bangkok?

Good afternoon everyone. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Thai language school in Hua Hin that I can use for the DTV application or cooking school. I have only found the Muay Thai gym and while that is awesome I prefer to learn the language or how to cook Thai food.

Argh, think I cocked up, seeing people saying mixed things about the bank statements (I applied from HCMC btw, in Da Nang atm).

I uploaded a 3 month bank statement with 16k GBP, reckon this will be all ok?

Anyone else get approved with just a 3 month statement?

I don't mind if they request additional ones for another 3 months but it'll be a bit of a pain. Many thanks in advance!

Any first time visa holders with DTV have success opening a bank account? If so, which bank and how did you go about it?

I am planning to apply the DTV visa as a freelancer in February. I'm from Myanmar, and currently, currently I'm holding an ED Visa. Either in Hanoi or Myanmar, I intend to apply for the DTV visa. Could I ask you some questions?

1. As my clients are based in Myanmar, my fees are in MMK. I use a reliable unofficial money exchanger (known as Hundi in Myanmar) to convert MMK to THB. Will my 500,000 Thai Baht be recognised as formal evidence of funds?

2. My clients are small business owners and film production companies. They don’t use letterheads for payslips; they simply transfer payments through mobile banking. Is it enough by providing screenshots of the bank transfers and bank statements from Myanmar? Or if not, how can prepare official payslips in this case?

3. In your opinion, which country is the best option for freelancers to apply for the DTV visa?

I need a bit of advice.

I extended my 90 day O visa to a one year extension of stay on 15 Feb 2024. In the photo two dates are shown, 15 Feb 2024 & 26 Feb 2025. Do I need to apply for another extension of stay by Feb 15 or Feb 26?
