ohhand by the way. It's only my preferance based on the research I've done. Individuals can take it or leave it. Take the risk if you want. Not bothered either way.
none O visa. I've done my research. Got a visa, Thai immigration are not interested in onward travel. But the airlines are. Its unlikely that the airline may ask for onward/return ticket but for £12 its not worth the risk.
Although Thailand do not stipulate onward ticket, the airlines own policy may do. I'm doing 1 way with an onward reservation. Emirates,KLM,Qatar all have it in their policy. I did onward ticket Approx £12 real reservation. Not worth the risk for me.

Was your non O the 90 day or the non O extended? I'm retiring and moving over in Oct. Getting ready to apply for either the non O as debated on here before, many of my friends are saying to apply for the non OA. I'm not bothered either way but the non O is easier and I can choose a good insurance rather than the crappy one. And congratulations on the bank opening.
Thanks gents. I'll let you all know how things progress. I thought a non o was a slam dunk option. Still looks the same. Just a bit worried about all the problems around getting a bank account with the the non o applied for in the UK. Everything else falls into place with my situation.
