Hi :)

Does anyone have a recommendation for a fast track service that’s taken you through immigration in Bangkok and been smooth and quick! How do I organise this? Thank you!

Hopefully entering BKK airport soon again with my approved DTV soft power from Hanoi. What do I need to show besides the printed e-visa? I know I need to fill in the TDAC, do I need to book a flight out of Thailand in about 6 months to show the officer? & anything else? Much appreciated!

Hi all, I have a DTV and just adding my wife and son. We are traveling in Jan 26 and plan to stay for about 150 days before traveling on. Do I need to get a forwarding ticket? I’d planned on doing that near the time because we don’t know where we will be going - maybe Bali or Malaysia. Also we will need to check in every 90 days to confirm our location.

Thanks for the advice

I am travelling to Thailand with a Non-iimigrant Type O visa from the UK, via Munich on Lufthansa Airlines. The visa is valid for 90 days as I will be staying in Thailand permanently then extending for 12 months based on marriage. Therefore I have booked a one way ticket. Will Lufthansa refuse me checking in and boarding the airplane as I do not require onward travel.

I am flying from Da Nang, Vietnam to Surat Thani. With a 2 hour layover at Suvarnabhumi.

I have always gone through immigration at Suvarnabhumi, but that doesn’t seem like enough time.

The visa registration wants me to specify the arrival port and flight number. Does anyone know will I go through immigration in Surat Thani and should list the flight that brings me there. Or should I be planning to list the Suvarnabhumi flight?

Thanks for your help 🙏 krap

I have a retirement visa and re entry stamp in my passport but I’m seeing conflicting information about if I need to complete an ETA electronic travel authorisation or a digital entry permit. I’m not even sure if these are the same thing. Can someone who has traveled back to the kingdom please advise me. I’m traveling on a British passport.

Have a bit of a strange question

I travel to Thailand on 24th June and plan to travel to Vietnam on 2nd July returning back to Thailand 11th July and then flying back to UK on 12th July .

Problem is as of 5th July I will have less than 6 months left on my passport which I know is not enough enter Thailand from Vietnam I don't jave time now to renew my passport before I travel.

I don't suppose there would be any way I would be allowed into Thailand on the 11th as my passport will have 6 days less than the required 6 months .

Even though I would be leaving Thailand again the next day ?

Hello everyone,

I applied for the DTV visa in Jakarta on May 25, and today marks the 10th day since submission.

So far, I haven’t received any updates—no request for additional documents or communication of any kind.

I would like to ask:

Why might it be taking longer than expected?

How many more days should I expect to wait, approximately?

Has anyone received visa approval in early June already?

Thank you in advance for any information shared.

Do you need to have a ticket out of the country when you're on a DTV and going through customs? I've always had a ticket out of Thailand for one reason or another when coming into the country but the next time I come in I won't need a ticket out for any reason (even though if history is any indication I'll be leaving the country sometime before 180 days is up)..if I do need one I know I can always get a cheap one-way to HAN on TG when I need it.
