The TR visa gives you maximum 60 days in Thailand. However once you are in Thailand you can apply for a 30 day extension of stay at the local immigration office for 1900 Baht (this is added on to your 60 days from the visa). So you get 90 days - 60 days from the TR Visa you bought before your trip plus an additional 30 days from the extension of stay you buy once you are in Thailand.
Not sure if this is an impact as well, but I heard from 2 different newsletters Insubscribe to that recently email accounts hosted by hormail, AOL (is that still being used), yahoo and verizon have been blocking email coming from automated mailing list systems and subscribers were not getting their newsletters. Not sure how the Thai MFA sends out their confirmation emails but thus could be a possible issue if you use those email providors. Good luck all.
If your country sells it you can get an STV (Special Tourist Visa) which is good for 90 days and can be renewed in country twice for 90 days (total up to 270 days). However there are more requirements to apply and you cannot change to a different visa in Thailand but it might work for your situation.
the vaccination card maybe enough, You can contact the Thai embassy to check. If they require a different certificate then no idea hoe to get it from NHS. Maybe call them.
Yes she needs proof of being fully vaccinated to come to Thailand with the test and go 1 day quarentine. Without it she will need to go through 10 days quarentine.
At the current time Thailand is not accepting recovered from Covid plus one vaccination (unless it is JnJ vaccine which only needs 1) so you would have to quarentine. Getting a second shot in another country should in theory be acceptible but I would contact the Thai embassy where you are coming from to confirm they will accept 2 seperate certificates. Otherwise the COE is supposed to be replaced by a new app to apply for entry sk when that happens you could apply and see if the accept it. Best of luck.
The Nov1 opening is not official yet so the final rules are unknown at this time. I expect it will be next week at the earliest that final rules are published (and could be as late as Oct 30 based on the sandbox program rollout).
You can apply for a 60 day extension of stay to visit family but you need your wife to come with you to immigration as she is the reason for your extension (cant guarentee it is the same for every immigration office, but certainly required at the 2 I have used for this).
You should be able to apply fkr a 60 day visit family (your Thai wife) extension. No finacial requirements but otherwise mostly the same paperwork as the 1 yr extension. You can only get this extension once.
