Iv come in on 30 day on entry . I want now to go for a non o 90 days based on then going for a marriage visa. How quickly do I apply for the non o 90 days. Funds have been transferred and been there for a years never been under 800k as I had a retirement visa that ran out during covid. As I don't intend leaving the country again.. visas permitting... A marriage visa would now be more suitable for me. You can see the direct transfer of the funds in my bankbook.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user wants to transition from a 30-day entry visa to a Non-O 90-day visa based on marriage intentions. They have funds that meet the requirements but are unsure about the timing and process for application. Commenters suggest that the initial Non-O visa may need to be obtained from a consulate outside of Thailand, followed by an extension at an immigration office. It's recommended to have at least 15 days remaining on the current visa before applying.

I think your initial 90 day NonO visa has to be obtained in a Consulate outside of Thailand then extended once there at an immigration office.

I think you'll find that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs isn't the most knowledgeable about immigration matters administered by the Royal Thai Police Immigration Bureau within Thailand. Also, that the Royal Thai Police Immigration Bureau isn't the most knowledgeable about visas that are offered for purchase by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs outside Thailand. If it's a visa matter outside of Thailand the MFA will have good information. If it's an immigration matter inside of Thailand the Immigration Bureau will have good information. For immigration matters specific to Phuket the Phuket Immigration Volunteers site will have very good information.
