Is a Vaccination Certificate with One Dose and Covid Recovery Accepted for Entry into Thailand?

Would be really grateful if anyone could advise on this.

Re:Entering Thailand as fully vaccinated.

I have had covid, fully recovered, and had 1 Astra jab. In Spain and the rest of Europe this counts as fully vaccinated and my cert with QR code shows 1/1 Covid + Vaccination. They refuse to give me another jab as I am fully vaccinated in their eyes. It is not possible to pay privately either.

This is not acceptable for travel to the UK and I would have to isolate for 10 days.

Does anyone know if this certificate is acceptable for entry into Thailand as fully vaxed? Alternatively if I got a second jab in a different country and brought both proofs of vax with me would that suffice?

Many thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether their vaccination status, which includes one AstraZeneca jab after recovering from Covid, is accepted for entry into Thailand. There are indications that Thailand does not accept this combination as fully vaccinated unless it pertains to a one-dose vaccine like Johnson & Johnson. It is advised to contact the Thai embassy for confirmation and to discuss the possibility of receiving a second jab in another country with the intention of using both vaccination proofs.

From TAT news unfortunately your situation is not allowed for international arrival. But as someone said its best to contact your local embassy, they have there own interprtations of rules

At the current time Thailand is not accepting recovered from Covid plus one vaccination (unless it is JnJ vaccine which only needs 1) so you would have to quarentine. Getting a second shot in another country should in theory be acceptible but I would contact the Thai embassy where you are coming from to confirm they will accept 2 seperate certificates. Otherwise the COE is supposed to be replaced by a new app to apply for entry sk when that happens you could apply and see if the accept it. Best of luck.

Since they validate and approve your application, the best advice is that you contact your local embassy and ask.
