 funny enough in the x years I've had it, its one of the first times its been useful. But with the bank changes it may well be needed. BTW I only used the book because it was first on the menu. I could have used my pink card or driving licence.

 no need for yellow book for basic level. But for advanced additional "thai" verification is needed. Like Yellow book
