April scheduled holidays are:-

6th April. 13th, 14th and 15th are all public holidays so immigration will be closed on those days nationwide. Plan accordingly.

Public holidays don’t affect airports or land borders.

Hi . I submitted an online application for a 90 day non immigrant ( married to a Thai ) visa on the 1st in the Uk . Got an email on the 3rd asking for colour copies of the my Thai marriage certificate and wife’s Thai id . No further communication or update since the 3rd : it has been 8 working days since the 3rd. I assume this is well within the advertised time to consider. When should I start getting worried

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS

IMMIGRATION HOLIDAYZ MAY

ALL IMMIGRATION OFFICES WILL BE CLOSED

Monday May 5th

Friday May 9th

Monday May 12th

If you have a stamp that expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go the very next day they're open you can get your extension like normal and will not be fined for overstay (you will get an overstay stamp in your passport but it will say "fine waived holiday")

Borders do not close for these holidays
