Silly question I know, but are schools across Thailand closed this coming Monday and Tuesday?

Answer summary

There appears to be some confusion about school closures across Thailand for the upcoming Monday and Tuesday. Several comments indicate that schools will be closed on both days due to the Queen's birthday and a bridging holiday. However, there are differing reports based on specific locations, with some schools in Bangkok initially said to be open on Monday but closed on Tuesday, while others confirm closures for both days. Parents are advised to check directly with their children's schools for confirmation.

There’s confusion. I had a Bangkok school teacher tell me on Friday they were open on Monday and closed on Tuesday and then she messaged me last night to say closed both days as Monday is a “bridging holiday”.

It’s primarily a public service/bank holiday on Monday but normally that would cover schools

I finally got a message through today from the mother of my daughter saying her school will be closed on both days. I was confused as had heard different things from different parents.
