My Thai wife just sold land we owned in Kanjanaburi. The local government office made her produce copies of her grandparents’ death certificates. They died before we bought the land and names were never involved in the transaction, ever. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, surprises me (or upsets me) with this country anymore.
I'm back home in Scotland there is a real problem with counterfeit notes with king Charles head on them just now I was told by checkout operator might be the reason?
Try to explain him why Thailand is way better than any other 'First world country'. I don't think he will understand. Oh well not everyone is smart enough to get it
