you can convert exemption to non O and then ask extension based on "retirement" or marriage no ? I even was told by somebody that he converted exemption to non b and work permit which seems not possible to me I guess his employer did those steps without he even knew He works for a big international company

if I'm not wrong, they can now choose for entering on 60 days exempt or 90 days agreement.

Makes no sense to choose for 60 only if you want to change to other visa ( non O, education .. ) Will have to double check but I think it's like that

Can I use a monthly international transfer for the first extension on a Non-OA visa in Thailand?

Non OA multiple can use nearly 2 years If you come back in 1 day before expires with 1 year insurance you will get stamped another year But in that case, if you want to go out, you need re entry permit because that stamp is single entry
