@Paul ******
that would make a very very long queue, and expect going to immigration at least twice, one day to get the queue ticket, next day queue for pricessing, now it is already too crowded

@Joe *****
hi so you just show immigration the certificate of fixed deposit, not account book showing monthly any more?

do you think immigration accept one year fixed deposit? and what is interest rate?
Ken ******
what you need consider is: whether the thai baht will depreciate overtjme, and esp at the time when you need to convert it back to your home currency, AND the bank deposit in.thai probably can't earn you much interest, there is opportunity cost
Ken ******
seems you only jnformed about registration after one or two months, but not sure if immigration really got it, so there is a risk immi missed that on their file

i still dont know what happens i live in.my own bangkok condo, what need to do if i live in a bangkok hotel several days, and then return to my own condo, TM30 again?
Ken ******
also, seems agent in hongkong only recommends using banks for transfer of funds into thailand for condo purchase, so that condo title deeds can be applied from thai condo registry. they don't have definite answer when asked about WISE
Ken ******
will immigration recognize the WISE transfer? as far as i.know, if they have enough funds in thai bank, they simply transfer from inside thailand, ie their thai bank ac to yr thai bank, how convince thai immigration you did transfer from overseas, in that case?
Ken ******
beware of black magic, popular in thailand folklore
