yes you do…you have to get the Ed visa out into your passport at a Thai embassy/consulate which is only available outside of Thailand

difficult not impossible…find a school and do some maneuvering to get the Ed visa but you will still need to depart

Ed visas are getting more and more difficult to obtain plus you can only apply for those outside of Thailand…get the 6 month METV either in your passport holding country or a country where you are a legal resident…or get the a SETV of if you have the money buy the EV
