no... you leave ... this site if you cannot take people expressing their frustration towards a shambles of a system run by myopic selfengrandising individuals who have power via their own discretion to do what they want. Thailand is a wonderful country but it is and has been run by ... well... blind people in a mine field; they have no idea. For the offices of logic and common sense are both devoid of staff and anyone capable of doing the better job are back on the farm as there is no more money in their coffers. So pay attention or just go back to the bar?

UOB.... well... Sorry but BKK Bank needed no such deposit ... WP... or asked about monthly transfers from overseas. Just my passport with visa page address report. Done.... 20 mins. Took me an hour in US at Chase.

just DON'T get an ATM card with Union Pay logo. Worthless outside China or just a few places in ASEAN. Get Master Card. They used to do VISA but seems not anymore.
