No it does not have to be exact. Also... yes... easy to get at airport before you go through passport control.

Skype. Easy. Around 14t bucks a month.

There are times when you need an actual phone number for verification requests. So I get you. But for simple calls back and forth.... Messenger and Line or WhatsApp are free.

Can I use the SWIFT code for Bangkok Bank to transfer money from North America?

John-Paul ******

I opened my BKK savings account and can do everything online. Came with ATM M/C card (for 200 per year). This was 4 years ago... but you can still get the same. I am on retirement Visa and never had to do Swift code or Wise... do everything via BKK bank here and in NYC branch. I have no idea why some have such issues and problems.

What passport do you hold? Inconceivable that your embassy will not renew your passport. They may not be able to get you a new one in time.... but rejecting your renewal is something I would scream at them for.
