Be clued up on airline charges Thailand end also. I paid 6,000 baht for having excess luggage and my mate paid 4000.

Nok air are charging 400 baht per kilo for excess luggage. Air Asia similar.

I got mine back in 15 hours. Then l got a test kit from the hotel to do a covid-19 test on day 6.

l did as you say today and they got back to me requesting a photo of the test which l sent by return email.

It would have been better if we had been given explicit details of where to send the result of the test.

Thanks to Stuart and all who helped and gave advice.

Immigration was easier than I've seen it in 25 years.

Chaos at the meeting place where they allocate you to your hotel.

Although my reservation said I would be transferred by limousine to the hotel I was put in a mini bus with another guy.

Total chaos and it took 1.5 hours to arrange.
