I am in Thailand on a 60 day visa exemption, but I'd like to extend it to 90 days.

I'd rather do things early than late, so I was planning to go within the week. However, ChatGPT (which is not always reliable) says to wait a bit as Bangkok immigration is very strict.

Is this true? Should I wait till January to extend, or just do it now? I thought it would be best to ask real people.

Also, it has to be done in person, right? I haven't found an online option.

Hello everyone, We were unaware that today was a holiday, so we did not extend our 60-day visa which runs out this Sunday. Aside from leaving Thailand for a few days, is it possible to address this on Monday, a day after our visa expires? Thank you,

Hello all 🙏. I need some visa advice. I have a question on the 60 days visa. If I go into Thailand on 20 Dec 2025 and stay for about 40 days. I leave after that via my return flight to my own country to stay for 14 days than I return back to Thailand to stay for another 40 days in the kingdom. is that considered a border run to the immigration of Thailand? Will immigration officers refuse my entry into the kingdom? TYIA for any advice given. 🙏

Can I get a multiple entry tourist visa for a 60 day visit in January and return in May. Then do the same in October and January ?I’ll be traveling to and fro from the UK. Can this be done each year? Looking at just under the 6 months in Thailand each year.

60 Day Visa exempt extensiin

My 60 day visa exempt expires Dec 30th. How early can I apply for the 30 day extension and anyone know opening times for xmas week at immigrstion office in BKK

If I fly into Bangkok and get the 60 day visa and then towards the end of that go elsewhere for a week or so and then fly back in to Thailand will I get another 60 days?

I will be visiting for 6 weeks in February what type of visa do I need and where do I apply and how long before my trip do I apply.

When I return in January, im intending to apply for my DTV visa

My question is , will it be ok as I will still be on a 60 day visa (from the December one) or as I leave it will be closed off
