I’m arriving in Thailand, flying in from Seam Reap next month,

This will be my second 60 day visa excemption arrival in 12 months ,

Will I be asked for an onward ticket?

As an Australian Citizen I receive 60 days visa free on arrival at BKK. I can then extend for 30 days at Immigration. If I then depart BKK and fly return to Vientiane, Laos VTE OR Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia KUL for a few days.... can I then get another 60 days visa free on arrival back in BKK? Also, can I then apply at immigration for a 30 day extension at Immigration? The total period is approximately six months with a few days exit in the middle.

If you land at bkk on a normal 60 day visa can you get a non o after that

Please clarify a 30 day extension to a 60 day visa exempt visit to Thailand scenario . If I arrive at BKK on October 1 I will be stamped for 60 days until November 29. If I go to Vietnam during this time, and come bacK to BKK and get a 30 day extension until December 29 , can I simply change flights and depart Thailand and go back to America on December 29 with no issues ? Hello! I have a few questions regarding a 30-day extension. Apologies if this has already been asked.

My mom arrived on 29 June 2025 with a 60-day visa.

* E-visa shows expiry on 24 Aug 2025

* Passport stamp shows expiry on 27 Aug 2025

I submitted everything on the VFS e-extension portal, but the earliest appointment I could get is 25 Aug 2025.

Wondering -

1. Which date should I follow as the actual expiry?

2. If it’s 24 Aug, will going on 25 Aug be considered a 1-day overstay?

3. Or should I just go to Chaengwattana immigration and do it in person instead?

I just wanted to confirm please 🙏🏾

For a person with a US passport if they arrive in Thailand by air (June 03) they get 30 days for that entry and can extend for an additional 30 days at an immigration office (we are in Chiang Mai)

When the 30 day extension expires they will need to leave Thailand for a border run is that still correct?

Also any suggestions for border runs would also be appreciated I have not done one in a long time so I am not sure what her options are 🙏🏾
