I walked into a Krungsri bank and opened one on a T/V. Told them I was buying a condo here and I needed a bank a/c. All done in around 40 minutes. You may have to buy some insurance. I didnt but I have heard of bank staff "suggesting" you buy some...if you know what I mean.
