married I usually just make it known at local immigration when we arrive and they are happy to do the extension for 1,800 baht.

So I guess it’s a case of we will see, on arrival

thanks that explains it previously I needed to show evidence of date to arrive and then depart, I’m guessing that may no longer be the case if I need to apply for extension to total 6 months.

never been asked for dollar amount.

I usually arrive with a few thousand baht.

And my card, if asked I could show I have the means by opening my phone up to show my account.

I don’t have any issues just trying to help, have been doing this for over 10 years never an issue with embassy or immigration. Easy to get extension stamped

and if the flight is filled when you get the visa what do you then do ???
