If you want peace of mind and no complications then do as has been suggested several times, book a flight out of Thailand to Vietnam or Cambodia and have a few days there , when you fly back in you get another 60 days stamped into your passport so you don’t need to bother with extentions. Go see Angkor wat at Siem Reap and chill out

Come on guys this is Thailand, did anyone really expect a midnight changeover. Might be days, maybe longer, it might even depend on which Q you are standing in 😂

yes that’s your experience, and it’s the same for many others, but it’s not always smooth going for everyone. It’s the beauty of Thailand you just can’t take anything for granted

everything is easy when it works out. It’s the luck of the draw as to whether it works out or not regardless of how well prepared you are

As far as quirks go in Thailand, not being able to transfer your bank account to another branch doesn’t even make the top 1,000

your attitude stinks. You also don’t seem to understand the reason for Facebook groups. Cut some slack.

yes I understand the “it hasn’t happened to me it’s not true“ response, and I’m sure it’s probably an isolated case, and there may have been some other issues, however it’s already been pointed out that the no limit by air entries is now three times in 6 months as a tourist and even then it’s down to the discretion of the individual Immigration Officer. There are many stories of individuals having problems when they shouldn’t and Thailand could help matters if they simplify their overly complicated visa system

apparently while you might ignore it, some of the airlines haven’t and people have been refused flights. Not many. Not all airlines. But it has happened and those of us who know Thailand won’t be overly surprised at inconsistency. It’s in their DNA
