Ah I see. So even if you put the funds in yourself at a later date, the records will show that you didn't maintain the balance. Does that still apply if you later apply for an extension based on monthly income rather than the 800,000?
It's not the first time I've heard this. Why are you stuck with agents if you use them once or twice? Is there a problem with immigration if you stop using them? I don't understand why you have to continue using them if you have the funds/means to do it yourself.
The first question is the starting point. What's the point of this group if you can't ask questions? Point somebody in the right direction instead of finding ways to complicate everything Karen.
peopke who offer nothing but a sarcastic or useless answer are all too common. I don’t know how accurate this is, but to the best of my knowledge, if you don’t have the 800,000 baht in the bank, (Thai bank) or the 65,000 baht per month income , then the combination would have to equal 800,000 baht per year. So that could be, 400,000 in the bank plus an income of around 34,000 baht per month. That’s just how I understand it, it may be more complicated than that. I think the first year you “may” have to have the 800,000 in the bank, but I’m not sure. I’m not an expert, that’s why I’m reluctant to offer advice here. But there may be someone here who knows the full answers. Agents can navigate the complexities with ease and avoid the financial requirements, but not everyone wants to use them.
Ok, I'm no expert, so point taken. Just thought it may be useful if you're over the 60 day visa exempt entry status and have multiple entries. Facebook advice, including mine, is not always the best way to go.
