you don't need that just come you have 60 days on arrival no application required just a smile. You are allowed to apply for another 30 day extension of you want. The extension you go to immagration and cost is 1900 bht. Enjoy

If you have the correct documents and a Thai friend that banks in that branch you are a good chance. Bank account is not a big deal. Talk politely and explain you are living and working in Thailand and a bank account is a requirement to allow you to buy stuff you also need the bank app set up on your phone the bank officer will do that for you. Remember you are not in your country the bank teller is not following your requests. Bank staff in Thailand have a higher social standing, treat them as such and you may be surprised
