I have a question regarding the Thailand DTV (Destination Thailand Visa).
When I applied for my DTV visa, I submitted proof of remote work showing that I was employed by a specific company.
My question is: What happens if I change my employer during the validity of my DTV visa?
I’ve seen several posts where people mentioned that Thai immigration sometimes asks for updated proof of remote work during re-entry or when using the visa for the second or third time.
So, if I change my company but continue working remotely (with a new employer), will immigration expect me to still be employed by the same company I listed during the DTV application?
Or is it acceptable as long as I continue remote work and meet the financial requirements?
Would appreciate insights from anyone who has faced this situation

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question concerns the implications of changing employers while holding a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV). The consensus among respondents suggests that changing employers is generally not a problem as long as the individual continues to work remotely and meets the financial requirements. Most agree that immigration typically does not scrutinize employment details upon re-entry, although it is wise to have documentation of employment available just in case.
It is not a problem to change employers. If you extend via immigration then you provide the new info. On arrival you could be asked for evidence of employment, extremely rare. Best to have employment docs to hand on arrival just in case.
