No they will not give you 7 day extension. Immigration does not care if you broke a nail or if your loved ones passed away. Your failure to an does not constitute an emergency on their part. Best if you book a bus or mini van out.

Do you have any close relatives in thailand? I had a friend, whose parents both passed away. They did a DNA tests with her Aunt (dad's sister) and 100% match and she got her citizenship that way.

Yee an agency can help you with this. There should be visa agent in Chiang Mai. But they will charge you about 20,000 thb up to 50k thai baht.

Yes, I had that experience. I came from Vietnam and I was already on my second tourist visa and I was in process of a work permit already but had not been approved yet. I showed all of documentations to the officer but they don't give a rats a.. what kind of papers you have. SUVARNABHUMI immigration has no leeway for extending circumstances. Hey are very strict. They sent me back to Vietnam and unfortunately you will also be sent back to UK as well.
