TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on finding affordable health insurance for expats applying for the O-A visa in Thailand. Several recommendations include companies such as Bangkok Insurance, Tune, and LMG Insurance, with a suggestion to use a comparison tool for rates. The conversation also touches on specific experiences with different insurance providers and the need for an insurance certificate to meet Thai immigration requirements.
You could apply for Non O in Thailand instead then no insurance requirements (outside of any Covid coverage that may required if Thai Pass still required at your time if travel).
