Anonymous participant 802 Their previous policy was no opening accounts for tourist visa holders. Just like all other banks. But as you can see people found a way around it. 🙂

Anonymous participant 802 The rule about not being able to open accounts on Tourist visas has been in effect for years. But agents got round it by paying bribes to staff (mainly BB). Chinese scammers opened numerous mule accounts to launder money. Hence the crackdown at BB. You're welcome.
