They should have flew into BKK. I re entered there after staying for 6 months three days ago. No questions asked.

Congrats. Looks much better when it's from your home country. I stayed for 6 months on my DTV (from London) and just re entered with no questions asked.

Some people used dodgy agents in neighbouring countries to get their DTV. So some IOs are suspicious about it. Nothing to worry about if everything is above board.
