Just an additional advice. If you enter. Cambodia via Koh kong( Cambodian bordertown) be aware that the road from Koh kong to the north is under reconstruction. Unbelievable bad condition. With a string car you can use that road but with motorbike almost impossible.

Is possible no problem. Need buy visa for $35 dollars only!!. Motorbike has to be imported and exported. Is doble. Need blue book and insurance paper. A little bit complicated but many Cambodia people who try to help everyone who want to enter Cambodia. At a fee of course. Just park your motorbike just before border and walk to the border. Look around a little bit helpless and... There comes a guy who will help you out. Just a warning.

and if you have priority pass or priority fi because of age : there is no re entry desk there but just ask BEFORE going through immigration, so just after security check how to get to the re entry desk. That is before immigration normal route. Immigration priority will stamp you out and explain how to get at the re entry desk !

Health insurance or life insurance or car insurance or ....

Beside the challenge to drive with a left-handed car in Laos you can not just enter Laos and drive there. Formally you export the can from Thailand onto Laos and the reverse. That is time-consuming paperwork especially if you do it the first time !
