Hello everyone! I read somewhere that airlines can denied you boarding base on blacklist(banned)

How is that possible? How embassy is not aware of the blacklist and grant you a visa ?

Hi everyone,

I just desperately need help about these things. My dad is from Scotland and he has overstayed his visa, not sure for how long, but before he went back to his country we asked the immigration how long he was to stay before he can re enter Thailand and they said 1 year. And now after 1 year he has done his visa (60 days) and as he was about the get on his flight back to Thailand he was stopped by the airport, is there a reason for this? Could this just be the airports error or is he still on the blacklist? I've tried asking thai people one threads but most seem to not want to help, so i'd rather talk to someone who really know. I'm not really good with these things so please bear with me.
