Hello I have booked an evening flight from BKK to Vientiane on 29 December with checked luggage.

I will be arriving at the same BKK airport much earlier that day flying with a different airline with the same checked luggage.

Is it possible to collect my luggage or have it sent to me and check in without going through immigration when I arrive at the airport and then when I leave? I intend to stay in the airport the whole time.

Thanks, Andrew

I am leaving Thailand for home. My trip goes from CM to BKK and on to Tokyo. My layover in BKK is 10 hrs so I have opted for an airport pod.

Two questions,

When I get to the airport in Chiang Mai can I put my luggage in the system and pick up my bags at home.

Second question. I don't want to go through immigration in Chiang Mai since I will have to go to the lower level of the BKK terminal and sleep. I hope to bypass immigration and travel on the plane to another city in Thailand and, in the morning, go through customs and be on my way home. I have six month visa with multiple entry (expires April,) but I will not be leaving Thailand for 12 hrs after I get to Bangkok. In the past, when I left CM, I was leaving the country. Thank you to whoever can answer my questions

Anyone transit through Riyadh (RUH) Airport before? Do they check your luggage all the way through or do you have to collect it and re-check it like in Wuhan?

Thanks

Hi all, planning to transit through Thailand to get to Canada and won't leave the airport but don't have booking through one airline. Do I need the Thai pass? Can I get one if I am not booked at a hotel?

👋 #testandgo question... I spent the 21 days in "approved countries, but I had one airport transit in a non-approved country. The transit was 16 days before arrival in Thailand and was 4 hours total. I had to clear customs to collect my luggage and check back in (different airlines, so I had to do that). So, I have a stamp from the non-approved country in my passport.

Can I still apply for #testandgo?

If my Thai Pass is approved, does that mean it is fine, or would Thai customs have an issue with this upon arrival in Thailand?

Has anyone had this experience? 🙏

My wife is a Thai citizen and I am a US citizen. Next month we are flying to Europe with a 24 hour layover in Shanghai China. My Chinese visa is still good but hers has expired. I am assuming that if we want to leave the airport to take a quick look at Shanghai, she will need to renew her Chinese visa, correct?
