The button to start new applications for test and go is disabled in the consular website unfortunately , so you would not be able to apply again if this one fails.

Is the Phuket Sandbox the only option for entry into Thailand currently, and are there updates on its requirements?

ASQ in BKK would just be 14 days (unsure of days after the recent change) in a quarantine suitable hotel room. Important to note you cannot Roam around in this scheme , you must stay in the hotel room close to the whole time

If you have not applied for the Thai pass yet you can only do Phuket sandbox or Asq quarantine. If you have an approved Thai pass already , you can still come under test and go

Is Thailand closing again after January 10th?

South Africa already going down now in covid after only 5-6 weeks of omicron. Chances are omicron has a shorter surge period so shutting down test and go temporarily makes sense in the low season

Thais love paperwork. Bring all copies of every required document. I am even taking copies of email correspondence I had with my test and go hotel to set up the taxi and test with the package

if already submitted it is still ok if you get approved. But if not yet submitted out of luck.

For my first non QR application , it took 7 days. For my second with QR application , took 120 seconds
