So Phuket sandbox is the only option? is there any updated info on what that actually entails or if I pull info from 6 months ago is still valid?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around entry options into Thailand, specifically the Phuket Sandbox and quarantine procedures in Bangkok. One user expresses confusion about the currently available options for vaccinated travelers and the necessity of applying for an entry program, while another highlights the uncertainty and potential updates on requirements that were anticipated around the timeframe.

Still awaiting details ...changes unknown at this time.
Likely 7 nights in approved SHA Plus hotel as recent.
I can still come to Thailand and quarantine in Bangkok (I’m vaxed) or do the phuket sandbox?
Or can I not apply now at all?
I have a flight booked for Jan 29th.
I had not applied for anything yet. But I had booked my test and go in Bangkok.

ASQ in BKK would just be 14 days (unsure of days after the recent change) in a quarantine suitable hotel room. Important to note you cannot Roam around in this scheme , you must stay in the hotel room close to the whole time
If you have not applied for the Thai pass yet you can only do Phuket sandbox or Asq quarantine. If you have an approved Thai pass already , you can still come under test and go
It means being locked in a room unable to leave for any reason until your quarantine is done. All meals will be left outside your door and you won't even see the person dropping them off because they don't notify you until they are gone. The number of days hasn't been stated yet though, but could be anywhere from 7-14 days, and will likely included 2-3 PCR tests as well.
I think he means new Thai Pass but I assume as you've only booked flight you've not yet done that. As we currently understand things,.it will all be reverting back to how it was before November 1st, so entry via phuket 7 day sandbox will be less onerous method,.as Bangkok will require ASQ. Applications for Thai passes are now closed until January 4th however, and more announcements are expected then. If.youve not had a booster and are eligible for one I'd suggest getting it done asap just in case they change 3 shots to mean fully vaccinated. I purely speculating there but better safe than sorry.
