TLDR : Answer Summary
When transiting through Singapore to Thailand, travelers need to provide vaccination proof which is primarily required for flights part of the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL). For Singapore, proof of vaccination including a digital QR code is necessary if flying under the VTL program. Notably, the timing for the RT-PCR test is different; it has to be taken 48 hours prior for Singapore as opposed to 72 hours for Thailand. A user mentioned that during their transit in late October, there were no checks on vaccination proof in Singapore, but they had to fulfill requirements only at their point of departure.
It depends if your flight is part of their VTL (vaccinated travel lane) or not. If the flight is VTL you need digital proof (qr) of vaccination if that's your question. I would reach out directly to the airline to answer your questions to make sure you get the absolute right answer.
QR code is ideal didnt think they needed for transit but maybe wrong. Main difference transiting through Singapore is you need RT PCR test 48 hours before not 72 hrs
Not necessarily , Singapore is strict on the type of proof. Some people from the USA (that were entering Singapore , not transiting) got served quarantine notices on arrival due to having not the right QR code proof.
