For US citizens , what is the recommended proof of vaccine to use for the Thai pass ? Different states have different available QR code proofs , but all have of course the CDC card with the doses and the lot numbers from the manufacturer. Just wondering what is best to use .

TLDR : Answer Summary
For US citizens applying for the Thai Pass, the preferred proof of vaccination is the CDC card. Although it is accepted, using a QR code for vaccination proof is recommended for faster approval, as it avoids manual verification delays. Some travelers mentioned successfully using their CDC cards and also noted the importance of having digital records when transiting through countries with stricter requirements, such as Singapore.

We are transiting through Singapore via Singapore Airlines VTL flight, and will be using Smartcard QR code that we had to jump through numerous hoops to get. Singapore has stricter digital record requirements. We will also have our CDC paper cards.

If you can get a QR code, use that for faster approval. CDC card is accepted but will take longer due to manual verification.
