If your wife is Thai, DO NOT PUT THE HOUSE IN HER NAME. I REPEAT DO NOT PUT THE HOUSE IN HER NAME. What you need to do is set up a limited company and the limited company owns a house and you’re the main shareholder in the company. Do not use your wife or any other relatives or friends as Thai partners good luck

I was a tourist. I don’t reside there full-time. I got there November 21 told immigration in Pattaya that I’d be leaving the 7th May. because their system is so stupid I had to rent my own house to myself for that period and you have to tell & provide written proof of where you’ll be staying and for how long how much rent you’ll be paying who you’re renting from et cetera to immigration within 24 hours of arriving in the country. The problem is they change their mind all the time on what you can’t & can do and also that was the longest period I was going to be staying there I’ve never stayed that long
