Best thing to do is download their app. You will receive notices and updates as they happen in regards to your flight. Otherwise, do not worry.

Marek Boratyński Same day border runs are no longer allowed. I was delayed last summer at the airport when I entered visa free, they then looked at my travels the previous winter and noticed I did a same day border run while here on a tourist visa at that time, and informed me, after a 90 minute delay, that I must leave the country overnight from now on when I do a border run. New rules, or they may deny you re-entry. At the same time, I have also heard of some people managing to do a same day border run to Laos. So it could also depend on the agent, or the border crossing. This winter I did a two night trip to Pakse in Laos, and just got home from a 4 day trip to Singapore. No issues whatsoever coming back in.

Considering your situation, I think you should just buck up. 8000 baht is not that much really. Pretty convenient for you too.

You may have to go into the Wise website on your laptop and reconnect your bank account or card. My Canadian bank keeps disconnecting the card roughly every 60 days. Very annoying.

Got hauled aside 3 weeks ago when entering Thailand. They went through passport and noticed that I had done a “border run” last winter. Delayed me for 90 minutes, lectured me, and told me to not do border runs anymore. My best advice is to leave for a few days, then come back.

I just came through a few days ago with no visa. Staying for thirty days. Going through immigration they noticed on my previous tourist visa that I did a one day border run to Cambodia. They delayed me for 90 minutes to let me know that I cannot do that any more. So word of warning to any people coming in on tourist visa. Make sure you leave the country every 60 days, but do not do a border run any more. Leave for a few days instead, or longer.
