once you have used an agent difficult to renew yourself without leaving the country - immig know when initial application was approved through an agent as they use an obscure immig office it’s a hamster wheel impossible to get off

One thing marginally worse than bar room lawyers are bar room accountants - if in doubt seek professional advice - the tax issue is very real - understand it……..

We have found SCB the most user friendly bank, meet all our needs and provide and interest bearing account to hold our 1.6m baht for visa renewal. We moved from BKK bank because they were not user friendly especially when it came to paperwork we needed for immig every year. Took up to a week to get our statements and letters for immig which was a ball ache……..SCB issue whilst we wait .

The removal company will produce a packing list /inventory of all items which will be screened by customs agent and they will assess import charges accordingly, no alcohol permitted - we brought in a container 6 years ago without issues
