Do I need an onward ticket when arriving in Thailand from Manila on a one-way flight?

From Manila to BKK the airlines in Manila at the baggage check in will ask you for your ongoing ticket.

In the past I have used bus tickets from Hat Yai to Penang $12/USD. I haven't done it for awhile so I can't say for certain it will still work.

If you've never been to Thailand they're probably not going to scrutinize your paperwork too closely.

I think it's less of a concern that immigration will give you hassle but rather the airline when you check-in.

Buy a plane ticket that has 24 hr free cancelation to show them then cancel it . Most tourists start on kao sarn Rd. I like the Dand D or green house

If you're traveling as a tourist (tourist visa or no visa) then proof of onward travel is a requirement. But you'll not likely be asked in Thailand, it's your airline that would ask. So check with them about their requirements, as some airlines would require proof of onward travel before letting you board your flight.

, For accommodation in Bangkok, I stayed in an Airbnb property in Phra ram 9 area located right next to Jodds fair night Market and malls. It was a good neighborhood to stay in.

I got the entire luxury property in a high rise building with the City's skyline view from the balcony and had access to the Swimming pool, gym, store within the same building where you can get food etc., and MRT.

Got this at a cheaper price btw 70-75USD/night for the entire property.
