It’s not going to be an issue unless you have to visit immig for an extension for example, or you end up in Hospital and they can’t track down where you are staying to contact relatives or friends…..

can do dependent/trailing spouse, or have separate visas , so yes you can keep one 800k amount

Do I need an onward ticket when checking in for a one-way Qatar Airways flight to Bangkok?

It’s not discretionary - the system flags it during check in if you are on a one way ticket why take the risk of being bumped get an onward flight to be safe, you can always cancel it

agents feed corruption and support thousands who do not or cannot comply with Visa requirements ie 800k or 65k a month the day of reckoning beckons and many may end up being exposed when this web of corruption implodes as it one day, will……for single guys no issue but folks with families have to take a more reasoned approach.
