good luck with that I've been emailing various departments in the Thai embassy in London asking for information and it's taken me ages to get a reply. Most of those didn't answer my questions and referred me to the website again both site and emails gave me phone numbers and extensions to call which had a recorded message telling me they don't transfer calls and advising me to go to the website!!!

My last three emails to different departments today have generated one response saying it would take

days to reply.

I've left it too late now to get there for Xmas with my friends ID advise you to start very early to get the process completed and deal with the incompetence.

I'm not sure about vaccination but am in the process of applying for a certificate of entry now apsp my retirement visa is valid till the 27th of January 2021. The embassy website and response is terrible! Misinformation about numbers to call (also in their email replies) being referred back to the website where the same inaccurate information is repeat today I sent 3 emails to different departments regarding this and one automated response telling me that they are busy and should reply in
***
days.

for the first three months 18,000 then a further 16,000 to get the one year retirement visa.

Costs a bit more to get reentry permit. Look on their website Franz

Thai visa center 34,000 baht in total for a three then a year retirement visa and you don't have to show cash or insurance. I've used it before and will again.

that's the office and I had to wait my turn in the queue. As I got off at the BTS station the second visit I was approached by a Thai lady who was trying to get me to renew through another company.

don't think so I paid 18,000 for a 3 month extension to my 30 day visa then another 16.000 to get the one year. This was when I was in Bangkok though the stamp was from some Northern province. It just says retirement no letters on it like O's or A's

I paid a Thai company 18,000 to extend my 30 day visa to three months then another 16.000 to get a one year retirement visa in Bangkok though the stamp was from some Northern province. I did not have to show any money apart from the fee's. Much cheaper than flying to KL and getting another 60 days anyway that is not possible now with the virus. I'm hoping I can do the same this time but I worry about getting in then finding its not.
