I can think of a few too, maybe not 20 that I would want to live in, but the comment was about a pension received after only 20 years of work. That's a very valuable asset worth several million dollars as the poster says. I don't know of a job in the US, outside the military, where you can get that after 20 years of work. Where you chose to spend it is another matter.
