When filing for the TDAC is the arrival date considered Day 1 or is Day 1 the day before arrival? Example: I arrive on July 3. Is July 1 the earliest I can submit for the card?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The earliest you can submit for the TDAC is 72 hours before your flight arrival time, counting from the day you land in Thailand. If you arrive on July 3, you can begin submitting your application as early as July 1. Some users suggest doing it 2 days before to avoid any time constraints.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

It's just another hoop that Thailand wants you to jump through whilst bemoaning the lack of tourists. KISS = Keep It Simple, Stupid. Now they're racially discriminating against foreign drivers despite doing nothing about their own drivers whose record is the 2nd WORST in the world. 14,144 deaths last year = nearly 40 every DAY! These are official figures which are not the whole truth.

Try it the last day you can before leaving. It will show available days. Or try today's date, just don't submit

Up to you, immigration wont know if you stopped somewhere or went camping.

It's 72 hours from day of arrival. You know what day you land, just count back from there. You can fill it in even on day you arrive, before you pass immigration.

I assume that's 72 hours using or within the Thailand time zone. So, if I'm in the US I need to adjust for the time difference.

@Danny ******
it's the date on your ticket you'll arrive. It's an arrival card. For date you arrive.
Henrik *****
Go safe and apply 48 hours before arrival, then both days will be possible
Lynnette *******
Count backwards from date you arrive. 1-2-3
