@Brian ******
that was fast! I started the K-1 process in March of 2021 and we finally got everything approved in February 2023. So about 22-23 months. It was during the height of Covid so that’s part of the reason. It all worked out as she’s here in The US with me and everything is good now. 😎🙏😎

now that’s a great idea because you’re right EVA has the same flight number I used on our trip in January as they did 5 years ago. Thanks again!

ok so still trying to clarify this. You are saying I can avoid the headache of filling out the Non-O marriage visa application online here in The US, and then after I get to Thailand I can do the visa app there, get the bank acct, etc?

@Jacques ****
so you are saying that you can do the Non-O marriage visa AFTER arriving in Thailand? I have seen agents that said they will assist with that but wasn’t sure it was true. I thought you had to do the visa here in The US and then come there and get the bank acct, etc.

hey Brandon you helped me a couple days ago and I really appreciate your knowledge on this subject. I am now filling out the application for a Non-O-marriage visa as it looks like the best option for me. But I have another question I’m hoping you can help me with; partway through the application it ask for flight info which I do not have as moving there is contingent on selling our condo. It will NOT let you continue the app without entering that info. I will wait and enter it after we sell and I book a flight, but the problem is it also asks for RETURN flight information and I intend to book one way. Do you know how to get around this or is that even possible? Thanks in advance if you are able to help!

ok I want the Non-O marriage. For me it looks like that’s the best option. It’s the most used, least hassle, and also least expensive, ie only 400k baht instead of 800k for the Non-O retirement. Once again your expertise has been most useful and is greatly appreciated. Take care and thanks again!

I was there in January from The US and cruised right through. In fact of all my times there it was the easiest trip through customs.
