We have many friends on Samui, and Thai family in Ubon. We come to Thailand yearly for several weeks at a time and are quite happy to live here.

No, not for the Non O, just for the Thai passport for my daughter.

The Thai embassy has a process, which requires obtaining a certified birth certificate from the state the child was born in. In our case that was Hawaii —which is like pulling teeth to accomplish. Anyway, we finally received it and also the Thai birth certificate from the embassy in Los Angeles.

Yes, we have everything, but waiting for the appointment, traveling to the embassy and then waiting 4-6 weeks for the passport is difficult with our timeline.

Thanks, yes, we registered the marriage in Samui, which is where we are moving to. I will try to get the passport for my daughter here, but it seems as though we have to travel to the Los Angeles embassy from our home in Northern California. Again, thanks so much for your comment as it appears you are the most knowledgeable person in this group. 🙏
