Following the conversation out of curiosity. I’m a retired GI and did the same thing 37 years ago…hoping you and your new wife also enjoy a happy marriage.

Very good to see Thailand strictly enforcing immigration law…it benefits the interests the Thailand people and law abiding visitors.

The U.S. and other western countries could learn from Thailand’s good example.

Never heard of it before either but was curious…Google search indicates it’s real/could be useful option for some.

As I recall, 90 day family visit + a 60 day family visit extension are possible for foreigners married to a Thai.

You might not need a passport photo. Last year, the Udon Thani immigration office took the photo electronically/at no cost. They politely told me not to worry about bringing a photo next time.

Lynnette Munoz Shame on you for denying your families historical crimes against indigenous persons…Munoz is absolutely a Spanish name.

If you want to spout stupid leftist nonsense…I’m going to have fun ridiculing you.

If you want to play racist far-left delusional history games. “Munoz” sounds like a Spanish conquistador name…maybe you should take responsibility for your family trying to spread their ill-liberal Spanish settler colonialism even further in the New World via a genocide of current long time current inhabitants.

🤣😂🤣🤣🤣😂

You can blame the “over stay” illegal aliens. Unfortunately, it’s rampant in the US.

It might be worth considering consulting with an immigration lawyer. Especially if you're not confident after some DIY research. My wife and I married in Thailand/obtained her permanent residency 37 years ago. At the time, it took about 8 months, lots of forms, a physical, police certificate and an interview. Not easy...but the last 37 years made it very worth while.
