me personally they pulled aside once I gave my passport to the immigration officer to be stamped in, a supervisor was called and they weren't happy with my answer and then took me to the chicken pen

i have a complex situation as I'm changing schools, I told them my situation, but I was denied entry, and told to apply for a tourist visa instead, and then after that I would be able to get the non b in Thailand, some people were let through and I'm thinking if I didn't tell them I was going to start a job I would have maybe been okay, another guy came on a Ed visa, and because he spoke Thai with them they denied entry saying he doesn't need Thai classes, sent him back to Europe, I was sent to Cambodia

it was on the right side by the priority immigration desk, they set up a cornered area with those retractable belts used to queue, felt like a chicken pen, separated only by a not so high wall were the officers had desks and computers behind us, I was being questioned coming in as well, I'm not sure of each persons exact situation but they were verbally telling people while filling in forms that they won't be allowed in, and the kept repeating the same reason, didn't matter the person's nationality, they were questioning everyones reason for using the visa exemption, kept saying you need proof of accommodation for your entire trip, 10k baht, and return ticket, telling people that you can only use the visa exemption for 90 days every 6 months, this is what happened, I was held there for 6 hours, they were denying people entry, or telling people to get the correct visa and try again

we were all standing in an enclosed area together, some officers were standing by helping people fill out forms while they went 1 by 1 to interview next door, they officers standing around were giving people information

On Monday I witnessed at suvarnabhumi airport people being denied entry, reasons given were that with a visa exemption you are allowed to stay 90 days within 6 months, plus you need three things to show: 10k baht, proof of accommodation for entire stay, and return ticket booked. This is what they told every person waiting with me, British, American, Russians, Chinese, they were sending back loads of people and it was just a couple days ago

@John ******
you don't need a second degree all you need is a Psychology degree but people Study further to help with getting accepted into Clinical.. so perhaps my wording was wrong

@Garrett **********
my goal is to get into Clinical Psychology z it's very difficult to get in back with all my years teaching in Thailand adding to my experience in working with people who you dont fully understand, getting a 2nd degree also apparently helps with being admitted into the program
