Hi all. Does anyone know if I can get a long term teaching licence here in Thailand? I've worked as a head of department in an international school for nearly two years, have a master's and a pgce from the UK (no Qts) and I'm enrolled on a doctorate in educational leadership. I've heard conflicting info about this. Thanks in advance!

Hey so I finished my Psychology degree in 2019 and heard about this PGCE that would be considered similar or on par as a teaching degree? (Not Thailand specific here)

I studied "Long-Distance Part time through UNISA (The University of South Africa) without any major issues, i was surprised how quickly my books got posted and how they had, who i presumed, where specific staff members working at the South African Embassy in Bangkok monitoring etc.

Anyways as I had mentioned earlier I would like to further my studies and hopefully start by 2023. And I reckoned that doing a short course like a PGCE which I had heard was only 1 year long and then basically have 2 degrees. Or at least a very highly accredited transcript like a PGCE.would be perfect.

i Iheard that UNISA will stop this PGCE course at some time in the near future, any ideas on when it will be? And another question is about the price? How much would this course cost for the 1 year, seeing as it can be done in 1 year.

Other options or degrees to look into which fits in with my psychology degree/teaching/HR. Or perhaps other institutions who also offer a PGCE which I could complete here in Thailand?

I live in Thailand by the way, just for those still wondering.
